Reopening of the East Bank Demerara Public Road at Land of Canaan
(in the vicinity of Barama’s Head Office)
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture wishes to advise the general public that bridge construction works under the Cunha Canal Rehabilitation Project have concluded and traffic in the vicinity of Barama’s Head Office, Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara, will be re-directed unto the existing East Bank Public Road from July 6th, 2019.
Kindly proceed with caution as you approach the newly constructed high-level (above road elevation) bridge.
The Ministries would like to thank commuters and pedestrians for their patience and tolerance throughout the bridge construction.
